John D. Callos
President & CEO
John D. Callos is a seasoned business executive with over twenty years of management, strategy, sales and marketing success with NYSE companies. Prior to his affiliation with IdeaBridge, Mr. Callos served as Executive Vice President of the Mainland Business Operations of a NYSE bank, managing most of the business units, strategic planning, marketing, sales and new business development groups.
As President and CEO of IdeaBridge, Mr. Callos advises banks, insurance companies, CPA firms, law firms and professional services organizations. Mr. Callos promotes a results-oriented business philosophy and stresses accountability for execution. This philosophy is showcased in many of his published articles and buttressed by dozens of client testimonials. Mr. Callos is internationally recognized for his expertise in the areas of leadership development, sales growth strategies and merging corporate cultures. IdeaBridge is the world’s leading referral building training company.
In 2000, Mr. Callos received national recognition as "Business Guru of the Year," finishing first in his category in a nationwide competition. His sales methods were featured in a Selling Power audiotape series and he his methods have been featured in Microsoft case studies. Callos has also been the feature of a full page article on executive training in the Orange County Register. Mr. Callos earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from the University of Southern California (USC) and graduated from USC’s Entrepreneur Program.
Mr. Callos is the past Vice Chair of the Economic Development Commission, as well as the Chair of a Blue Ribbon Task Force on Economic Revitalization. Featured in numerous professional and biographical publications, Mr. Callos has been a guest speaker to NYSE companies, professional organizations and business schools (USC, UCLA) in the areas of referral building, entrepreneurship, personal achievement, leadership and business development.
